December 7: Peoples locations open as Bank First, with access to our expanded branch network.
A little preparation can make your first Bank First login easier. Beginning December 3, some Peoples services will be temporarily unavailable while we complete the conversion to Bank First.
Before December 3, log in to Peoples Online or Mobile Banking to make sure your address, email, and phone number are current. You can review and update your information under your profile settings.

When you first log in to Bank First Digital Banking, you’ll need to reset your password. Have these details from your Peoples account ready:

*Save your account number in advance, as it will be unavailable in online banking during conversion.
Existing direct deposits and automatic payments, including Social Security, payroll, and pension payments will continue without interruption.
*Your Peoples debit card number will change. On December 7, activate your new Bank First debit card and update any automatic payments, subscriptions, digital wallets, or other services tied to your card.
@ 3:00 p.m. Peoples Consumer and Business Bill Pay and iPay Payroll will be disabled. Before this time we recommend reviewing any bills due between December 3-7 and schedule those payments in advance.
Payment history, as well as direct deposit and email payees under Pay a Person, will not transfer. If you need access to past records, please print or save them before December 3.
The following Peoples services will be disabled:
@ 1:00 p.m. Positive Pay check exceptions and ACH block/filter exceptions
@ 2:00 p.m. Waukesha location closed
@ 3:30 p.m. ACH Origination
@ 4:00 p.m. QuickBooks/Intuit, Positive Pay check issue file uploads, ACH block/filter additions or changes, Account Reconciliation, Online Wires, and Onsite Deposit
@ 4:00 p.m. Peoples Online Banking, Business Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Zelle® and Telephone Banking will be disabled. You will not be able to view your existing accounts, make transfers, or complete other actions over the weekend.
We’re getting ready to welcome you to Bank First! All Peoples branches will be closed as we complete the transition over the weekend.
Peoples State Bank offices open as Bank First! The Downtown Milwaukee and West Allis branches will consolidate into our Waukesha location.
> Access Bank First Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Bill Pay, and Telebanc.
> Download the goBank app (Welcome Guide, pages 15–17).
> Activate and begin using your Bank First Debit Card (page 13).
> Delete the Peoples Mobile Banking app.
Scammers may use times of change to impersonate trusted contacts, including our Treasury Management or Fraud teams. Don’t click unexpected links or share your password, PIN, or verification codes. When in doubt, contact your local branch directly.

The system conversion will occur over the weekend of December 5, 2026. All Peoples branches will close at their regular time on Friday, December 4 and will re-open as Bank First on Monday, December 7.
Please note that Peoples branches will be closed on Saturday, December 5.
For services related to Peoples accounts, you should continue to visit Peoples until the conversion is complete on Monday, December 7. After conversion, you can visit any Bank First location.

While we have worked diligently to ensure a smooth transition, there will be a brief period when you will not have access to your account(s). Peoples’s Personal and Business Online Banking will be unavailable starting at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, and access will be restored when Bank First’s Online and Mobile Banking services become available on Monday, December 7.
No. Your account number will remain the same unless you were previously contacted with different instructions.
The current Peoples routing number will continue to work following the merger.
Yes. Direct deposits will continue without interruption.
Yes. Existing automatic payments and loan payment deductions will continue as normal.
Your current Peoples accounts will be converted to comparable Bank First accounts. Please review your Welcome Guide and accompanying disclosures for details about your specific account.
If you’d like to explore other account options, please call or visit your local office. We’ll be happy to help you find the account that best fits your needs.
Some service charges will change. Personal and business account service charges will be waived for six months following the merger, and Treasury Management service charges will be waived for three months.
For details about applicable service charges, please refer to the Welcome Guide: page 6 for personal accounts, page 7-8 for CDs and Safe Deposit Boxes, and page 9 for business accounts, along with the accompanying disclosures.
If you've used your Peoples personal or business debit card or ATM card within the past six months, you'll receive a new Bank First debit card before the transition, along with activation instructions.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Continue using your Peoples State Bank card through Sunday, December 6, 2026.
• Beginning Monday, December 7, 2026, activate and use your new Bank First debit card.
If you have not received your new debit card before December 7, please contact your local branch for assistance.
For recurring payments linked to your Peoples debit card, you should update your payment information with your new Bank First debit card number for payments scheduled on or after December 7.
Yes. You may continue using your existing Peoples checks after the merger until you need to reorder. New checks can then be ordered under the Bank First name.
No. Your current Peoples Online Banking profile will automatically transfer to Bank First.
Use your current username and password. After your initial login, you will be prompted to create a new password. If you typically use Face ID, Touch ID, or saved credentials, you will need to enter your username and password manually the first time you sign in.
For security reasons, you will be prompted to reset your password the first time you log in. To complete this step, please have the following information available as it appears on your account:
• Your account number
• Your email address
• Your last name
This information will be used to verify your identity.
Yes. Download the Bank First goBank app from the App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.
Peoples Personal and Business Bill Pay will be available until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3. Before then, we recommend reviewing any bills due between December 3 and December 7 and scheduling payments in advance.
Future-dated payments, recurring payments, and most payee information will transfer automatically. Payment history, as well as direct deposit and email payees under Pay a Person, will not transfer. Please print or save any past records you’d like to keep before December 3.
After 3:00 p.m. on December 3, Bill Pay will be temporarily unavailable while we complete the transition to Bank First.
No. Statement preferences and up to three years of eStatement history will transfer automatically. You will also receive a final paper statement from Peoples dated December 4.
No. Your current interest rate and term will remain the same until maturity.
Upon maturity, your CD or IRA CD will renew under Bank First's available terms unless other arrangements are made. Customers with terms of 180 days or less will receive advance notice and renewal options.
Payments, rates, and existing loan terms will remain unchanged until maturity.
