About Chris
Chris Kalk, Region President, joined Bank First in 2026 and has more than 20 years of commercial banking experience. Chris will lead the Bank's newly established North Central Wisconsin Region, serving customers and communities throughout the greater Wausau area and extending north into the Rhinelander, Minocqua, and Eagle River markets. He is passionate about helping businesses achieve their goals by building strong relationships, understanding their unique needs, and delivering meaningful financial solutions that support long-term growth.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from UW–Oshkosh. Active in his community, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area and enjoys coaching youth basketball and tennis.
A native of Wisconsin, Chris resides in Wausau with his wife, Robin, and their daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and golf, as well as spending time with his family.
