Kathryn Schmitz

Kathryn (Kat) Schmitz, VP - Retail Market Manager, joined Bank First in February 2016 and has over 20 years of experience in mortgage lending. Kathryn has spent her lending career working with many different home loan programs, including government programs, first-time homebuyer programs and down payment assistance options. She has made exceptional customer service, effective communication and dedication to her customers the backbone of her business and is devoted to helping her customers achieve their dream of home ownership.

Kathryn is actively involved with the Manitowoc County Board of Realtors, the Manitowoc County Home Builders Association, and the Manitowoc Ships Girls Basketball Association, where she currently serves as treasurer. Kathryn has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from UW-Green Bay. She and her husband have one daughter, and they keep busy most weekends watching her play sports. In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys running, swimming and camping.
