Matt Bookter

While Matt works primarily from our Bellevue office, he also travels to Howard. Matt Bookter, VP - Business Banking, joined Bank First in 2019 and has over 23 of banking experience. With a rich history in banking, Matt prioritizes building long-lasting relationships with his clients, understanding their needs, and helping them achieve their financial goals. He is committed to providing personalized attention and financial advice tailored to each client's circumstances.

Matt earned his bachelor's degree in business and communication at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois. Matt is actively engaged in the community, serving on the De Pere Basketball Boosters Club board, and has been a head coach for both De Pere and Legends AAU for the past 14 years. He also co-founded and leads a networking group dedicated to the growth of young professionals in northeast Wisconsin and has volunteered with the Best Christmas Ever non-profit for the past six years. In the past year, Matt helped launch Fellowship of Christian Athletes at De Pere High School. He continues to serve as a Field Leader for the basketball and football teams during the 2025 and 2026 seasons. In his free time, Matt enjoys serving at Spring Lake Church, as well as fishing, golfing, biking, and swimming. He resides in Ledgeview with his wife, Melissa, and four sons.
