Melissa Townsend

Melissa Townsend, Retail Banking Officer, joined Bank First in September 2026. She brings six years of experience in customer service, real estate, and escrow operations, having most recently served as manager of the Manitowoc branch for Bay Title & Abstract. Throughout her career, Melissa has built strong relationships with homebuyers, real estate professionals, and community members while assisting with real estate and escrow transactions. Known for her relationship-focused approach and commitment to serving others, she is passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals through personalized lending solutions and trusted guidance.

Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics with an emphasis in Exercise Science from Oklahoma State University. She is actively involved in the community as a board and committee member for Manitowoc Girls Basketball and serves on committees with the Manitowoc County Home Builders Association and the Manitowoc Board of Realtors. Melissa has also volunteered with the Roncalli Catholic School System, M&M Great Lakes Sport Fishing Club, and Girl Scouts of America.
