Paper Shred Events

With the growing risk of identity theft and fraud in today's society, Bank First's shred events provide community residents with a safe, secure way to dispose of sensitive documents while giving back. While these events are free and open to the public, participants are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food donation for each bag of documents they bring to shred. All donations benefit local food pantries and help support the communities we serve.

In 2024, we shredded an impressive 87,600 pounds of paper at 18 events, and in 2025, we surpassed that total, shredding 91,975 pounds across 20 locations!

Confidential Records, an AAA-certified shredding company, provides mobile shredding units to securely destroy all personal and confidential documents. The company employs licensed and bonded document destruction specialists and guarantees the secure removal of all shredded materials.

To allow enough space for community residents, we kindly ask that businesses refrain from participating. Events will be held rain or shine, and participants are welcome to stay and watch the shredding process for added peace of mind.
