Finding Your Routing Number
The routing number, also called an ABA or routing transit number, is the first set of nine digits printed along the bottom of your check. It identifies your financial institution and is commonly used for direct deposits, automatic payments, and electronic transfers.
At the bottom of your check, you'll find:
- Routing Number: The first set of nine digits
- Account Number: The second set of numbers
- Check Number: The last set of numbers, which also appears in the upper-right corner of the check
Bank First will be retiring the routing numbers from previous mergers and acquisitions, retaining one primary routing number for all of our customers. This will help you easily identify the correct routing number for ordering checks and any ACH transactions within your Bank First account.
If your Bank First checks do not have the routing number of 075901134, here are your next steps:
- Order a new supply of checks with the updated routing number from your local office.
- Do you have any recurring withdrawals from or direct deposits to your account? Be sure to notify those companies as well. To assist you in updating automatic deposits and withdrawals, please refer to steps 2 and 3 of our Switch Kit.
- Once your new checks arrive, safely dispose of your old checks.
