Bank First Expands Investment Across Central Wisconsin
Rib Mountain office to remain open as Bank First plans new facilities in Rib Mountain, Weston and Plover
MANITOWOC, WI, October 5, 2026 – Bank First (NASDAQ: BFC) announced plans to make significant investments across Central Wisconsin, including new facilities in Rib Mountain, Weston and Plover. The announcement comes as Bank First prepares to merge with Peoples State Bank in December.
As part of the investment, Bank First has decided to keep its Rib Mountain office open rather than close it at the time of the merger, as previously announced. The bank plans to construct a new, state-of-the-art facility at the existing Rib Mountain site, with construction anticipated to begin in fall 2027.
Since announcing its original plans for Rib Mountain, Bank First has continued to evaluate the long-term needs and opportunities across the market. Feedback from customers and the community has been an important part of that process and helped shape a broader plan for how the bank can best serve these communities in the years ahead.
“We’ve heard from customers and the community, and that feedback has been important as we’ve taken a closer look at our plans,” said Mike Molepske, Chief Executive Officer of Bank First. “This is the right path forward, allowing us to continue investing in these communities while creating better spaces and experiences for our customers and employees.”
