Chris Kalk, Region President, joined Bank First in 2026 and has more than 20 years of commercial banking experience. Chris leads the Bank's newly established North Central Wisconsin Region, serving customers and communities throughout Central Wisconsin and extending north into the Rhinelander, Minocqua, and Eagle River markets.

Chris is passionate about helping businesses solve challenges, achieve their strategic objectives, and foster long-term growth. He is committed to building strong client relationships and delivering financial solutions that support the success of businesses and communities throughout the region.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from UW–Oshkosh. An active community leader, Chris serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area and enjoys coaching youth basketball and tennis.

A native of Wisconsin, Chris resides in Wausau with his wife, Robin, and their daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and golf, as well as spending time with his family.
