Report Fraud
Bank First customers: contact us right away using a trusted phone number if you have provided account details, passwords, or sent funds due to a scam. Time is critical to limit damage.
If you suspect fraud has occurred, acting promptly can help minimize potential losses and prevent further activity.
Lost or Stolen Debit or Credit Card
If you feel your Bank First Debit, ATM or Credit Card has been compromised, please call one of the following numbers:
- To report a lost or stolen Debit/ATM Card, call 1-800-554-8969
- To report a lost or stolen Credit Card, call 1-855-325-0905
You can turn off your card immediately through the "Cards" menu in online or mobile banking. Debit/ATM PINs can be changed within the same menu or at any of our ATMs at most of our office locations. To obtain a replacement card, contact your local Bank First office.
Identity Theft or Account Compromise
If you believe your personal information has been misused:
- Contact Bank First as soon as possible
- Change passwords and security settings on affected accounts
- Review recent transactions and account activity
You can also report identity theft to the Federal Trade Commission. The FTC provides step-by-step plans and documents to help you work with creditors and credit bureaus. Visit www.identitytheft.gov to get started.
Additional Steps You May Consider
- Place a fraud alert or credit freeze with the three major credit bureaus*
- Review your credit reports for any unfamiliar accounts or activity
- File a police report if appropriate
