Matt Bookter, Vice President – Business Banking, joined Bank First in 2019 and has over 23 of banking experience. With a rich history in banking, Matt prioritizes building long-lasting relationships with his clients, understanding their needs, and helping them achieve their financial goals. He is committed to providing personalized attention and financial advice tailored to each client’s circumstances. 

Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in business and communication at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois. Matt is actively engaged in the community, serving on the board of Gateway Collective in downtown Green Bay. He has contributed to the development of City Center Lofts, a new apartment model offering affordable and holistic “Socially Inclusive Housing” for individuals and families across all income levels. Additionally, Matt serves on the De Pere Basketball Boosters Club board and has been a head coach for the past 11 years. He also co-founded and leads a networking group dedicated to the growth of young professionals in northeast Wisconsin and has volunteered with the Best Christmas Ever non-profit for the past five years.

In his free time, Matt enjoys serving at Spring Lake Church, enjoys fishing, golfing, biking and swimming. He resides in Ledgeview with his wife, Melissa and four sons.
