Though his home base is our Tomah office, Mike is often on the road, working directly with agricultural clients and engaging with the industry.
Mike Gintner, Vice President – Agricultural Banking, joined Bank First in 2023 with 18 years of experience in the agriculture industry. He understands the unique challenges and opportunities of agricultural operations, from small hobby farms to large-scale enterprises exceeding 10,000 acres. Mike prioritizes risk management, utilizing a variety of tools to help farms mitigate challenges and navigate uncertainties year after year. He is committed to developing tailored financial strategies, collaborating closely with each customer to address their specific needs and achieve their long-term goals.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Industries and Marketing from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. He remains closely connected with the evolving agriculture industry by attending conferences and collaborating with leading Midwest consultants to stay informed on the latest trends and innovations. In addition, Mike serves the Chippewa Valley Technical College Animal Science Advisory Board, contributing his expertise to support agricultural education and development.
Mike resides in Eau Claire with his wife, Kricket, and their two children. The entire family is involved in barrel racing, and Kricket competes professionally with the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association.
